Adult contemporary music (AC) is a form of radio -played popular music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad -heavy music of the 1980s to the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, R&B, quiet storm and rock influence.

Christian music (CM) is music that has been written to express either personal or a communal belief regarding Christian life and faith. Common themes of Christian music include praise, worship, penitence and lament, and its forms vary widely around the world.

Comedy is a genre that consists of discourses or works intended to be humorousor amusing by inducing laughter, especially in theatre, film, stand-up comedy, television, radio, books, or any other entertainment medium.

Family Entertainment means the presentation, production, exploitation, origination, or booking of, or the provision of any services in connection with, any type of family entertainment shows, programs, exhibitions, demonstrations, or events, and any related businesses.

R&B is known for its smooth vocals, melodic hooks, and soulful instrumentation. The genre often features lush harmonies, emotional lyrics about love or heartbreak, and a strong emphasis on vocal performance. Hip-hop, on the other hand, is characterized by its rhythmic spoken-word delivery (rapping) over a beat.

American music developed especially from ragtime and blues and characterized by propulsive syncopated rhythms, polyphonic ensemble playing, varying degrees of improvisation, and often deliberate distortions of pitch and timbre.

Latin music is classified as world music, and much of it draws its roots from ancient civilizations. In fact, there’s a lot of Incan and pre-Colombian civilization influence in modern-day Latin music. It also draws inspiration from the Caribbean and parts of South America, specifically in new variations of Latin music like reggaeton. 

Pop music is understood to be a genre of music that is enjoyed by a broad audience. The songs are often rhythmic and straightforward, with a strong focus on melody and harmony. Pop music is also more commercialized than other genres.
